Java Juice - Sacrilege, I know.


We went to REI today to purchase rear bike lights (so we don't get hit by a car at night). While there, I was perusing the camp food (you know how I love compressed food bars) and came across this seemingly disgusting new product called Java Juice. It's triple strength coffee in a tear pouch that you pour into a cup of hot water. I should be outraged by this, but after purchasing (and then tasting) it, I really didn't think it was that bad. I liked it better by itself as an espresso shot in a pouch than I did mixed into water, but I should have saved it to mix with soy milk. It's certainly better than instant coffee, and if I had to drink anything but fresh brewed, this would be an acceptable substitute. It's organic and they support fair trade, so I'm going to try and get us to start carrying it at work.
