My dad hipped me to this:
It's a web site that offers hundreds of documentaries for free viewing. You can also "snag" the movies, embedding them in your blog, social-media page or Web site. This is not YouTube material. These are full-length films from PBS, National Geographic, independent filmmakers and others. (For those of you interested in such things, each movie contains 90 seconds per hour of advertising. The filmmakers get a cut.)
It looks pretty cool, and I'm going to watch a whole bunch of them.
