Oh snap! That DMax recorder would be so incredibly useful. I need to find me one for a similar price. Will it record to DVD-RW or just +/-R?

Sadly, it is + only (which is retarded) so I'm just going to use the same DVD+RW over and over). Last night I used it to capture a program from my crummy cable company issued DVR, which I then ripped with DVD Decrypted. I edited the commercials out with VideoReDo Plus (which looks like a windows 95 kids game, but works like magic), then converted to xvid with AutoGK. It wasn't a quick process, but it's the only way to get things off my DVR, and it was so cheap it was almost free.

That was my next question (though I would do all that with FCP and Handbrake with the x.264 codec). Also, is there a coax on the back?
