God Forbid: Metal as Fuck



I listen to the metal station on XM quite a lot. Most of what I hear is crap, but yesterday I caught a song by New Jersey band God Forbid that I quite liked. The guitars are crushing as fuck, the vocals aren't stupid, and I like their album concepts and lyrics. Also, they're a racially integrated metal band, and that's always fucking awesome.

Give it a listen, why don't you?

Yea god forbid is good shit. If you like amazing guitars you should check out In Flames! Hands down my favorite metal band of all time. They get better with each album. Which is odd since most metal bands do the guns n roses thing and get shitty.

I wish I like the vocals in death metal, because a lot of the music is good. I haven't listened to any of the newer In Flames, but I've heard from other people that it's better than the old "cookie monster vocals" stuff. I'm currently listening to some 80's thrash that I'd never heard: Kreator, Sodom, Destruction and Overkill. It's all pretty boss. heavytorrents.tk is the shit.
